Spring Awakening

Apparently, I had created this account way back in '07 when I was 12. However, me being a lame kid back then, didn't bother to ever touch this account ever again.
So, now that I'm not a lame kid anymore and pretty cool instead ;) , I'm gonna be a regular.

So, Spring break's gonna be over in just two more days. I shall be entering 10th grade which is a pretty big deal but I really don't feel any older. Just a bit annoyed over the fact that I'm growing up (well, yes. That tends to happen to everyone) but besides, great expectations will be held out of me by my parents and all. So, yeah. It's annoying.

Apart from that, these 20 days of Spring off from school have been absolutely great.
My final exams ended on the 9th of March, the same day all the parties started.
And my cousin from Germany was over so it was pretty cool. She taught me a bit of German (& Swedish). Ich bin ser gespannt -> I am very curious. Something I fortunately remember. :)

And over everything else, I had a lot of this spring.
I visited the Taj Mahal for the first time in my life. That was some sight. Here's a photo of the Taj Mahal and another one of me and my German cousin together somewhere in the
complex. Yeah, I look a bit retard, can't help it.

And then, there was this other time when I went to watch a 3-D movie for the first time. Alice in Wonderland !! And it was absolutely awesome. Are you like me, did you peek out of your 3D glasses whilst watching a movie just to see the difference? Don't worry, we're all like that. :)

Then, there was another First time. I went to watch my first cricket match in a stadium. It was an IPL match between Delhi & Mumbai. The excitement and the energy you feel in the stadium is unexplainable. It's an experience each one should witness. Although Delhi lost, I didn't really mind because I had an experience I'll always remember. Thanks dad and thanks whoever gave us those free passes to the clubhouse seats! ;)
Here's a picture of me in the stadium. :)

Apart from that, I tried doing some random stuff like building a house out of Plaster of Paris, which was btw, very unsuccessful. And I regularly took my dogs out for a walk without a leash. I hate tying my dogs with a leash. Very unhumanitarian, I'd say.
And I started with the Percy Jackson books. They are absolutely awesome. The Lightning Thief was the best book I've ever read. I'm currently on the second book, Sea of Monsters. There are five parts and I'm hoping to complete them all before my summer vacations. I have to start with Harry Potter in summer.
Yep, 10th grade has that effect of people. You get all serious and studious and yet remain cool. :)

It was one of my best friend - Mahima's b'day yesterday. Her house is the cosiest place in the whole world. I wish I could stay longer or perhaps, spend the night there. However, that seems out of the question. She's a really nice person and we have this big history together which I don't like speaking about. I wasted one whole year not talking to her and Im just delighted to be back being great friends with her.
Here's a picture of me and Mahima together. :)

All in all, I had a wonderful spring with all the possible fun I could have. And now that Spring's almost over, I'm looking forward to a fantastic summer and a great new academic session.
Let the flames begin. :)
